MOME EcoLab is the sustainability research group of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest, Hungary.
Launched in 2013 in one of the most underprivileged regions of Hungary, the Bódva Valley of Borsod County, the Cloudfactory project functions in close cooperation with the elementary school of Bódvaszilas. The aim of Cloudfactory is to create a social design workshop and educational centre for local children and students of MOME.
Bódvapack is a social design product line created for underprivileged babies and children to ease the early stages of their lives. Four thematic starter packs help them overcome the greatest challenges in the areas of living environment, health, nutrition and education that result from extreme poverty.
The MOME EcoLab started a social development project in 2012 in Bódvalenke, one of the most underprivileged towns of Hungary. The aim of the project is the development of products, tools and services that, based on local resources, help families living in poverty.
